TryClips

What's This

TryClips is a chat site for grown-ups built on one rule of thumb: the scene should already be running when you walk in. It opened in November 2026, and every lead in the reel is an AI character.

The premise

We wrote 16 characters whose jobs keep landing them in some predicament, and gave each a handful of cold opens: three-line scenes that start halfway through. You read one, take it over, and she carries on. The product is small on purpose. A story chat should feel like turning a page, not completing a registration.

A name that overpromises

The address hints at filmed clips, and none exist. Every page says plainly that a clip here is written text, and the site is arranged so that this is the pitch rather than the apology. Once a woman has a film clip, it will be added to her page, announced first in the next batch notes.

Lines we do not cross

  • No meetings are arranged, because no one exists to meet.
  • Passing off an invented character as someone real.
  • Selling your chats or handing them to advertisers.
  • Putting anyone under 18 in a scene, in costume or out of it, under any excuse.

Reaching the desk

A human reads the inbox listed at the foot of every page. Corrections, complaints and strong views on how the reel is paced all go there.
